Davey’s saltwater chlorinators range from the compact ChloroMatic Nipper to the EcoMatic COMM, a commercial solution built to handle heavy bather loads.
Like all chlorinators, though, they rely on fault-free sensing to work.
If you’ve encountered a persistent ‘Low Salt’ reading or another common problem, we’ll help get your chlorinator working again.
Often, a salt cell clean or replacement is enough, but our workshop technicians can also fix electrical issues like faulty control panels and flow sensors.
A broken chlorinator shouldn’t mean paying for a full replacement.

Davey Water Part FAQs
We charge a fixed strip-and-quote fee, which includes our technicians dismantling your Davey part in our workshop and diagnosing the problem. We’ll then provide a second fixed quote for a repair or replacement. Our pricing for repairs includes a service fee plus the cost of any required parts. It’s no different to taking your car to a mechanic.
If your pump is still under warranty, please don’t try to repair or disassemble it. Take it to a Davey certified warranty agent instead.
If your pump is outside of its warranty period (Davey pumps tend to have warranties of 2–3 years), bringing it into a workshop with qualified technicians is still normally best. They’ll be able to disassemble the pump quickly and accurately diagnose the problem without causing any damage.
Still prefer to do something simple like a housing change yourself? Call us or another Davey supplier ahead of time to get the parts you need.
Keep in mind that all Davey pumps are different and that the above instructions are general information only. We do recommend that all pump repairs and installations be conducted by qualified, experienced technicians.
