Most AstralPool parts don’t need to be brought into a workshop to be serviced.
A properly balanced pool and an annual check by a qualified technician are normally enough.
The exception: robotic cleaners, which should be serviced around once every 12 months to maintain performance, and salt cells, which may need professional cleaning if scaling occurs.
If you need either of those products serviced, call us now to ask about lead times.
AstralPool’s range of robotic pool cleaners is headed up the Viron QT1050, a corded 4WD cleaner with dual-stage filtration.
The Viron and its siblings are all excellent residential cleaners – but they can still have problems.
That includes everything from damaged transformer cords to loose motor connections and seized flaps.
As certified warranty agents for AstralPool, we can diagnose and solve any problems your cleaner is experiencing – including issues with the navigation system.
Get in touch with us to request an estimate and ask about repair lead times.
AstralPool chlorinators are built for durability, which means it’s rare that you’ll need a total replacement.
Instead, most problems are caused by a damaged or failed part like the salt cell, flow switch, or connector.
If you’ve ruled out first-line problems like skimmer basket blockages – or your Halo Chlor Go app is telling you it’s something serious – get in touch with us for help.
Depending on the problem, you might need a qualified electrical fitter to remove the part so you can bring it to our workshop.
AstralPool Pool Part FAQs
We charge a fixed strip-and-quote fee, which includes our technicians dismantling your AstralPool part and diagnosing the problem. We’ll then provide a second fixed quote for a repair or replacement. Our pricing for repairs includes a service fee plus the cost of any required parts. It’s no different to taking your car to a mechanic.
AstralPool robotic cleaners generally have a running hours limitation on motor repairs; other products, such as pumps and filters, have significantly lower warranties on fast-wear components like O-rings and seals.
Keep in mind that your product won’t be covered by its warranty if:
If you aren’t a qualified electrician, stop reading. You need to hold a Queensland open electrical or electrical fitter licence to install a Halo pH sensor; if you don’t, you could negate the product warranty.
If you are an electrician, refer to product manual for instructions. They should look roughly like the following below steps.
Keep in mind that a discrepancy between a Halo sensor and one third-party reading doesn’t mean the Halo sensor is at fault. Always double-check with two third-party readings to accurately pinpoint which reading is incorrect.
Every AstralPool chlorinator has a different factory reset mechanism. The easiest way to make sure you get it right is to contact AstralPool customer care.
